During the newisotope runs, delayed gamma-rays were simultaneously detected at the focal plane. We have identified a total of 54 microsecond isomers including discovery of 18 new isomers in very neutron-rich nuclei, and obtained a wealth of spectroscopic information for a variety of neutron-rich exotic nuclei ranging from Z ~ 20 to 50 [6].

High-spin level structures of neutron-rich Xe and Xe nuclei have been reinvestigated by analyzing the triple and four-fold γ coincidence data obtained from the spontaneous fission of Cf. Several new levels and transitions are identified in both nuclei. The explosion of new data on fission processes and properties of neutron-rich nuclei made possible by new detection and accelerator facilities called forth an international conference to highlight the latest results and future directions in this rapidly developing field.
